Duplex Steel S32205 Fasteners
Sankalp Alloys Overseas is one of the prominent manufacturers, suppliers, stockists, and exporters of high-quality Duplex Steel UNS S32205 Fasteners. The fasteners cannot dispense with varied industrial applications of construction. We offer these fasteners in a range of thicknesses and tolerance limits to meet diversified industrial applications. Available in a number of standards, designations, and specifications, these fasteners can also be customized as per requirements.
Duplex Steel UNS S32205 has high fatigue strength, especially at room temperature, where reverse bending stress is considered a problem. Since the fatigue limit of this alloy is comparable with its yield strength, it makes the alloy of considerable use for applications for which both properties are significant. Unlike conventional stainless steel alloys, the fatigue strength of Duplex Steel UNS S32205 does not depend as strongly on corrosion rate.
Our Duplex Steel UNS S32205 Fasteners have high strength both at nominal and sub-zero temperatures. It is added to their strength against rigorous environmental conditions; thus, the process assures the customer of delivering fasteners on time with specified specifications.
Compared with 316 bolts, fasteners fabricated from Duplex 2205 exhibit higher strength with improved resistance to corrosion and SCC in chloride-containing atmospheres. This makes them an ideal choice for chemical, petrochemical, and offshore industries for service in seawater handling equipment, heat exchangers, and other critical components. In contrast, while 316 bolts have better pitting corrosion resistance and are less expensive, the performance of main Duplex 2205 fasteners comes out on top in more demanding environments.
