This grade of super duplex features a ferritic-austenitic microstructure, with the alloy consisting of half ferrite in the annealed condition.

These fasteners include 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel, providing exceptionally high resistance to pitting corrosion, corrosion fatigue, and crevice corrosion. They also offer high resistance to chloride ion stress cracking.
Super Duplex S32750 Square Nuts have extremely high mechanical strength, with a minimum tensile strength of 125 ksi and a minimum yield strength of 82 ksi. The Super Duplex Screws are used in high-stress applications such as process and service water systems, ballast water systems, and water desalination facilities. The use of Super Duplex Steel S32750 Fasteners should be limited to applications below 600 degrees F (316 degrees C).
