Our Hastelloy C-276 Sheets and plates contain a chemical composition of Nickel, Molybdenum, and Chromium balanced to the required proportion. The addition of tungsten improves resistance to corrosion in the product. The nickel and molybdenum contents in ASTM B575 Hastelloy C-276 Sheets make them resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments.
Our Hastelloy C276 Plates also do not form grain boundary precipitates in the heat-impacted zone of welds; therefore, they remain suitable for several chemical operations even in their as-welded condition.
