The excellent value for resistance to SCC, high strength, weldability, and work hardening are combined in the Zeron 100 Sheets and Plates. This proves that the microstructural balance of ferrite and austenite performs exceedingly well in chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance.
They are also resistant to crevice corrosion, and they show improved pitting resistance than other currently used conventional super duplex alloys. Zeron Sheets/Plates offer good resistance in environments containing alkalis, mineral acids such as sulphuric and hydrochloric acid, and non-oxidizing acids.
