Zeron 100 Steel Flat Bar grade include high strength, good toughness, weldability, and excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of organic and inorganic acids. It has excellent resistance to corrosion in both oxidizing and non-oxidizing acids, which makes the alloy attractive for use in several industries, especially where high corrosion resistance to solid alkalis is required.

This grade of Zeron 100 Super Duplex Cold Drawn Bar should not be exposed for a long time at temperatures above 572°F because of the loss in toughness with time despite high tensile strength and toughness. Chemically duplex grade 2507 with added copper and tungsten, Zeron 100 Round Bar has copper additions that enhance resistance to non-oxidizing acids, specifically hydrochloric and sulfuric acid. Zeron 100 F55 Round Bar features a high PREN number ＞41, reflecting an excellent pitting resistance compared to other alloys.

Zeron 100 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Cold Rolled Bar exhibits superb resistance to SCC in chloride and sour wells. Hence, it does not suffer permanent damage when used in such wells.
